TypingTutor.Online Chrome Extension Support

Troubleshooting for installation, lessons, numpad input, selected-text practice, reminders, progress, and the side panel.

Extension does not open

Open chrome://extensions/, confirm TypingTutor.Online is enabled, then reload the extension or restart Chrome.

Numpad keys are not being accepted

Use the physical side numeric keypad, not the number row above the letters. On keyboards with Num Lock, make sure Num Lock is enabled.

Numpad lesson does not finish immediately at the timer

This is intentional. When the selected 3/5/10-minute time is reached, finish the current practice row and the lesson completes automatically. This avoids ending in the middle of a sequence.

Next Numpad lesson is locked

The current lesson must meet its accuracy target. Use Practice Again and prioritize accuracy before speed.

Selected-text practice does not appear

Select text on a normal webpage, right-click the selection, and choose the TypingTutor command. Some browser-internal pages do not allow normal extension context-menu behavior.

Reminder did not appear

Check the reminder setting inside the extension and confirm Chrome notifications are allowed by your operating system.

Progress looks empty

Progress is stored in the current Chrome profile. A different browser profile, private/incognito context, browser reset, or extension reinstall may have separate or cleared local storage.
