Accounts, Premium and classroom subscriptions
Core lessons, standard tests, existing games and basic earned certificates remain accessible without a paid plan. Guest learning and local export/import remain available. Free accounts provide automatic progress sync and basic stats. Active Premium membership unlocks complete stats dashboards and an ad-free experience. Some new tests and games may be reserved for Premium and will be clearly labelled. Future additions are not guaranteed features of your purchase.
Personal Premium is USD $5 per month or USD $36 per year, billed as one annual payment (equivalent to $3/month). Both billing options include the same features. Annual classroom packages are USD $99 for up to 30 student seats, $249 for up to 100, or $499 for up to 250 across the teacher's active classrooms. Teacher access is included. Classroom packages are separate from personal subscriptions and include supported assignments, results and reports; seat and class limits are displayed before purchase. Larger requirements need an agreed quote.
During private testing, plan changes, invoices and renewals are simulations. Approved testers can complete Paddle sandbox checkouts using test payment details; these do not charge real money. Live customer billing has not been enabled, and registration may require approval. Live purchases will display the full billing interval, applicable taxes, renewal terms and payment provider before payment. Any automatic renewal must be disclosed at checkout. Cancelling renewal preserves access until the covered period ends and stops future renewal charges; it does not itself request a refund.
Stats, storage and cancellation
Free and guest stats provide basic summary values. Complete charts, detailed history and reports require active Premium or an eligible paid classroom package; new classrooms have a one-time 30-day full-reports trial. Live typing results remain available to everyone. Monthly and Yearly Premium both allow up to 365 days of available history, subject to activity-specific record caps. Sync stores one supported current progress copy, up to 1 MB, rather than an unlimited archive.
Free accounts and cloud copies expire 30 days after the last successful save or restore. Paid accounts retain their cloud copy until the paid period ends, followed by 30 days to restore/export or renew. Paid features and ad-free access stop when the covered period ends. Scheduled cleanup then removes expired account/cloud data. Local backups remain on your device. Issued certificates and public verification are separate from subscription renewal and are not revoked merely because a subscription ends. Refunds
Our 14-day Refund Policy applies to paid personal and standard classroom subscription charges when paid billing launches. Request a refund using the purchase email and receipt reference. Mandatory consumer rights and any more protective applicable payment-provider terms are not limited by these terms.
Educational purpose
TypingTutor.Online provides typing lessons, tests, practice tools, statistics, guides, achievements, and related educational content. Results are intended to support practice and self-assessment. They are not a guaranteed prediction of school, examination, employment, or professional performance.
What the learning service does and does not verify
TypingTutor.Online measures typing activity within its own exercises and tests. A certificate from this site records the qualification result and verification details associated with that certificate, not an independent identity check, in-person proctoring, or acceptance by an employer or examination authority. Employers and exam bodies set their own standards; users should check those requirements before relying on a result.
You can practise without registering, and some progress will remain only in that browser. For available free, Premium, Kids and School options, see Features & Progress, account plans and School. Account access, availability and storage restrictions are described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We may add, remove, test, update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting, browser limitations, security work, or technical problems.
User responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use automated systems to create artificial traffic, scores, ad impressions, or interactions.
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, bypass, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Submit spam, abusive content, malware, unlawful material, or another person's private information.
- Misrepresent typing results, achievements, or certificates.
- Copy or redistribute substantial parts of the website except where permission is granted.
Typing results and certificates
Typing speeds, accuracy scores, achievements, and certificates depend on the test rules, device, browser, input method, text difficulty, and user behavior. A result or certificate does not represent an employment guarantee, government-issued qualification, or independent identity verification unless a page expressly states otherwise.
Progress and backups
Some progress may be stored only in your browser. You are responsible for exporting a backup when that option is available. Clearing browser data, changing devices, private browsing, storage limits, or technical problems may remove locally stored progress.
Advertising and external services
The website currently has its AdSense loading code and advertisement placeholders disabled. Advertising may be introduced again with appropriate privacy disclosures and controls. The website can also use third-party services. We do not control every third-party website, offer, product, or privacy practice. Review the terms and policies of any third-party service you choose to use.
Disclaimer
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim to keep it accurate, safe, and useful, but we do not promise that every feature will always be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every device, or suitable for every individual.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TypingTutor.Online and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the website.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms when the website or legal requirements change. Continued use after publication of revised terms means you accept the updated terms.
