Net WPM (NWPM / NPWM), Gross WPM, accuracy, errors, consistency, duration, and correct characters are copied from the saved test and cannot be edited in the certificate form.

Net WPM certificates for employment
For certificates earned from timed typing tests, TypingTutor.Online records Net Words Per Minute (NWPM / NPWM) separately from Gross WPM. The net figure is shown prominently because it reflects speed after accuracy is considered. Each new test-based certificate can also show accuracy, errors, test duration, test date, certificate ID, and a verification URL with QR code. This is useful when someone needs an NPWM typing certificate, net WPM typing certificate, typing certificate for employment, or verified typing speed certificate.
How certification works

Typing certificate questions
Are one-minute tests accepted for certificates?
No. Speed and accuracy credentials require at least five minutes, while the beginner credential requires at least three minutes. Short tests remain useful for practice but do not prove sustained performance.
Can users enter their own WPM?
No. WPM, accuracy, consistency, duration, and completion dates are copied from saved lesson or test evidence and cannot be changed in the certificate form.
Is the certificate accredited or proctored?
No. It is a site-issued online skills certificate from TypingTutor.Online. It is not a government, academic, proctored, or professionally accredited qualification.
How does verification work?
Every certificate has a unique number and verification URL. New adult certificates are recorded in the protected TypingTutor.Online verification registry and can be checked across devices. Older certificates can be verified when their existing server record is present or has been imported into the registry.
