Kids Typing Guide for Parents and Teachers
The Kids section works without accounts, dates of birth, email addresses, public profiles, or chat. Progress remains in the current browser unless an adult exports it.
Recommended daily practice
| Learning path | Suggested session | Main priority |
|---|---|---|
| Little Learners | 5–10 minutes | Comfort and accuracy |
| Young Typists | 10–15 minutes | Correct fingers and rhythm |
| Junior Typists | 15–20 minutes | Accuracy, consistency, then speed |
How to use the section
- Start with one short guided lesson.
- Use a short test to check progress without pressure.
- Finish with one learning game.
- Stop if hands feel tired or posture becomes uncomfortable.
- Review the private Progress dashboard rather than comparing children publicly.
Progress and privacy
The private dashboard shows lessons, tests, games, stars, practice time, streaks, and recent activity. An adult can print or export this information locally. Custom spelling lists also remain in the browser.
