Rewards explained
What Kids stars and badges really mean
Stars are linked to accurate lesson completion; badges mark milestones such as finishing home-row lessons, trying different tests and games, or practising on several days. Rewards are earned from recorded activity, not purchased.
A badge is encouragement rather than an official examination result. Children who have not earned a badge yet can open its requirements and practise the relevant lesson, test or game at a comfortable pace.
Some rewards rely on activity saved in the current browser. Take care not to clear browser data unexpectedly, and use supported account features where appropriate.
Try this practice routine
- Open a badge and read the learning milestone.
- Choose a short lesson or activity that fits it.
- Celebrate effort and return another day if the goal is not yet complete.
