What this test measures
This test measures effective WPM, gross WPM, accuracy, errors, correct characters, and consistency. A qualifying result is stored locally so you can compare later attempts.
Same theme, keyboard guidance, local statistics, and input handling as the tutor.
This longer test evaluates endurance, concentration, and steady accuracy. It is the strongest timed option for users who want a dependable sustained typing result.

A ten-minute typing test is useful when you want to know whether your pace stays comfortable and accurate beyond the first few minutes. Start at a sustainable speed instead of sprinting through the opening sentence. Watch for rising mistakes near the end, particularly on punctuation and keys you normally reach awkwardly.
Compare future ten-minute attempts with other ten-minute attempts using similar difficulty. If your results fall after several minutes, practise a short weak-key workout, then repeat the longer test after a rest. Take breaks whenever your hands feel uncomfortable.
Need a quicker checkpoint? Use the 3-minute typing test. Seeking a credential? Read the separate certificate-test requirements; an ordinary endurance score is not automatically a certificate.
