A mobile typing test measures how quickly and accurately you type using a touchscreen phone or tablet keyboard. Mobile results can differ from desktop typing because thumbs, autocorrect habits, screen size and keyboard layout change the way you type.
The test reports words per minute (WPM), accuracy, errors and consistency. The timer counts actual test time, while your result is saved locally in this browser so you can compare later attempts on the same device.
Use your normal device position and keyboard. Keep the phone stable, read slightly ahead, and avoid rushing the first few lines. For improvement, compare accuracy and consistency as well as WPM.
Do not expect an identical score on every device. A physical keyboard and a touchscreen require different movement. Use this page to establish a phone-specific baseline and track improvement over time.
