How Kids Typing Stack works

Start with large, slow blocks and build confidence one level at a time. A missed block joins the stack, but you get five chances and plenty of encouraging feedback. The game is designed for keyboard learning rather than extreme speed.

🔤 Letters A–Z

The recommended starting mode. Practise finding every letter across the keyboard.

🌈 Easy Words

Short child-friendly words such as cat, sun, book, green, school and friend.

⭐ Letters + Words

A gentle mixed challenge for children who are ready to switch between single letters and words.

Five friendly levels

First Stack begins slowly, then Alphabet Stack, Little Words, Word Builder, and Stack Champion add a little more challenge. There is no 70-WPM requirement. The goal is careful, confident typing.

Three-minute challenge: Beginner → Normal → Advanced → Adaptive. Stages advance automatically; the final pace adapts to your accuracy and speed. Build your score and beat your personal best.

Choose the right Typing Stack mode for your child

Letters A–Z is a useful first choice for children still learning where individual keys sit. Easy Words adds short vocabulary, while Letters + Words asks the learner to switch between the two. Each mode provides a different kind of keyboard practice.

Blocks and the five-level progression create a playful challenge, but the learning goal remains steady finger movements and correct keystrokes. If the stack grows too quickly, return to a slower mode or a guided Kids lesson rather than guessing.

  1. Begin with Letters A–Z and identify each letter before pressing it.
  2. Choose Easy Words when single keys feel comfortable.
  3. After playing, compare accuracy in a Kids Easy Words test without falling blocks.
