Choose difficulty that protects technique
Beginner mode allows more time, Normal balances pace and control, Advanced increases pressure, and Adaptive considers recent game WPM and accuracy. Course mode is recommended when a learner has not yet completed the full keyboard course.
How game results are used
Completed sessions are stored locally as game activity. They appear in Statistics, support game achievements, and contribute genuine active practice time. They do not replace formal tests for certificate qualification.

Combine games with guided lessons, typing tests, and the Weak-Key Coach for a balanced learning plan. To turn a measured WPM into a targeted speed workout, use the Typing Speed Improver.
Choose a speed game that fits your current accuracy
For short bursts, try Word Sprint and keep the same difficulty for a few rounds. For longer word sequences with time pressure, use Typing Stack. Typing Race is useful when you want to maintain a steady pace across text rather than react to single keys.
Keep an eye on missed letters. If mistakes increase as your score improves, return to a slower game or practise weak keys before raising the difficulty. This helps avoid building a fast but unreliable habit.
Compare game pace with a typing test
Game scores, cars, and level times are not directly equivalent to a WPM result on continuous prose. After a few rounds, take the 3-minute typing test to see whether your speed carries over. Compare attempts using the same test duration and a similar text type.
