The car moves automatically. Finish each target before it reaches the flag, protect your five chances, and survive five increasingly difficult levels.
Unlike the old version, typing does not push the car forward. The race car now moves automatically from start to finish. Your job is to complete the displayed target before the car reaches the flag.
Level 1 is deliberately forgiving. Level 2 shortens the available time, Level 3 raises the pressure, Level 4 demands faster recognition, and Level 5 becomes a Master Sprint. A level changes only after both enough successful words and enough practice time, so levels do not flash by after only a few entries.
Letters Only is the default and uses normal alphabetic words. Letters + Numbers introduces alphanumeric targets. Full Keyboard adds capitals, punctuation, symbols, and Shift combinations. Weak-Key Words focuses on words containing keys that need attention, while My Custom Words lets you supply your own practice list.
If a target reaches the finish line before you complete it, one chance is lost. After five missed targets the race ends and your result is saved. A skipped word also uses one chance, so skipping cannot be used to avoid difficult targets.
Words you fail can return later as Retry Word challenges. This turns a missed target into useful practice instead of simply discarding it.
No. The car moves on its own. Typing only determines whether you finish the word before the car reaches the flag.
Choose 3, 5, or 10 minutes. Five minutes is the recommended default because it gives the automatic levels enough time to develop gradually.
Level 5 stays active at Master Sprint speed until the race timer ends or all five chances are used.
Game settings and results stay in this browser. Only performance measurements such as score, accuracy, WPM, reached level, and completed targets are used by the site; typed custom words are not sent as analytics event text.
