Letters fill the tank
Type a letter on a gold fuel can to add 20 fuel units. At zero, your truck and route progress stop. Fuel cans keep coming, so you can refuel and move again.
Keep rolling. Save the fruit. Deliver your best typing.

Type each missed word, then take another journey.

Type the blue word above a bird before it reaches the load. Every successful bird steals one visible fruit. No hearts or spare chances: the food is your lifeline. Rare green pickups can replace up to six stolen fruits per journey.
Three minutes of driving opens the next route. Ten difficulty tiers introduce longer vocabulary and small speed increases. After tier ten, keep travelling until your truck is empty.
Typing Food Express turns keyboard practice into a colourful countryside journey. You drive a teal delivery truck carrying apples, bananas, watermelon, oranges, grapes and strawberries. Hungry birds approach the load while gold fuel cans appear along the route. Your job is to choose what needs attention next: finish a bird word to keep your cargo, or collect a fuel letter to keep the truck moving.
The game combines single-letter recognition with progressively longer words. Fuel letters have gold labels, bird words have blue labels, and rare roadside fruit pickups have green labels. Correct characters turn green inside a selected word. The fuel tank, remaining fruit and route timer stay above the playfield, so you can make decisions without searching through menus.
There is no separate lives counter. You start with eighteen individual pieces of food. When a bird reaches its targeted piece, that fruit disappears from the truck and the bird carries it away. The visible gaps help you understand exactly what has been lost. Remaining cargo carries forward between routes; reaching a new tier does not restore missing fruit automatically. Rare roadside markets can replace up to two missing pieces when you type their green pickup letter. Only six extra fruits can be collected during a journey, and the truck never holds more than eighteen. The journey ends as soon as the truck has no food left; an unused market allowance does not prevent game over.
Running out of fuel does not end the game. It stops the vehicle, road animation, distance travelled and route countdown. Birds still approach, and fuel letters still appear. Collecting a fuel letter adds twenty units and automatically resumes the journey. Pausing freezes both systems, including fuel consumption and approaching birds.
After about 45 seconds of driving, watch for a small fruit crate on the roadside with a green letter label. Later opportunities are spaced 55–75 seconds of driving apart. They appear only when fruit is missing and your allowance has stock left. Type the green letter to add up to two fruits back onto the truck. You can collect a total of six extra fruits per journey. A full truck uses no stock, and missing a crate does not reduce your remaining allowance.
Crates move with the road and stop when you run out of fuel. Birds remain active. If you are typing a bird word, press Space or Release word before collecting a fruit or fuel letter. The six-fruit allowance does not reset at a new route. After it is used, protecting the remaining food is your way to keep travelling.
Start a bird word by typing its first letter. The game selects that bird, and further letters continue its word. The current selection has a stronger blue outline. Fuel letters and the first letters of new bird words are kept distinct, making your next action easier to recognize. You can also click or tap a bird to select it without completing any letters automatically.
To interrupt a selected bird word and collect fuel, press Space or choose Release word. Partial bird progress stays visible so you can return to it. You resume a partially typed word by typing its next required letter or selecting its bird. Incorrect letters do not take away fuel or fruit directly, but time continues, so slower corrections can let birds reach the load. Escape or the pause button pauses play. The sound control turns effects on or off.
On touch screens, tap Open keyboard. The typing field stays hidden so there is no extra input box covering the scenery. Tapping a bird keeps the software keyboard focused. A physical keyboard gives you more of the playfield to watch. Text paste and automatic replacement are blocked during play so pickups and words require individual keystrokes.
The first route begins with short food words and familiar letters. Later routes introduce fruit names, vegetables, harvest terms and delivery vocabulary. Each checkpoint needs three minutes of actual powered driving. Approach and spawn speeds rise by small fixed steps across ten tiers, rather than suddenly increasing when you type a fast word. After the final tier, the game continues at that difficulty. You can keep playing for as long as you preserve some cargo.
The distance is a game measure, not a real driving simulation. Correct letters, accuracy, game WPM, birds sent away and fuel collected describe your typing session. Each completed route and the final partial route are saved through the existing game history system without counting the same practice time twice. Guest results stay in the browser; existing account sync applies when signed in. A game result does not qualify for a typing certificate.
For a calmer practice session, try the typing course or Typing Speed Improver. Check sustained speed with a three-minute typing test. For other illustrated challenges, play Typing Birds or Advanced Typing Soldier.
Typing Food Express is labelled Premium. Depending on the current testing and entitlement settings, a paid account or authorised preview may be required. The game verifies access when started; check plan access before playing.
No. Type a gold fuel letter to resume movement. Birds remain active, so watch your cargo while recovering.
A route change does not restore food. Rare green roadside pickups can replace a limited amount of missing fruit: up to two per pickup and six extra fruits per journey. Start a new journey for a full load and a fresh allowance.
Your keystrokes are assigned to the selected bird word. Press Space or Release word first, then type the fuel letter. You can return to the bird’s remaining letters afterwards.
