Two-thumb typing is about rhythm, not rigid zones

A touchscreen does not require the fixed finger rules used in physical-keyboard touch typing. Your thumb typing keyboard can be the normal on-screen keyboard already installed on the phone; you do not need a special keyboard to practise. A practical two-thumb method lets each thumb cover the area it can reach comfortably while the other thumb takes nearby keys when that feels faster or more stable.

Hold the phone comfortably

Use a grip that keeps the screen stable without squeezing. Both thumbs should move freely across the keyboard. If reaching the centre or upper corners feels strained, adjust the phone position rather than stretching aggressively.

Build coordination with easy text first
