CALM · ACCURATE · PRACTICAL
Everyday Work covers common tasks, Clear Phrases develops rhythm across spaces, and Accuracy Lab trains confusing or demanding spellings.
Targets remain visible longer than in the teen sprint. Five progressive levels still add challenge, while accuracy bonuses reward clean input more than rushed guessing.
The finish card appears inside the game area with score, accuracy, WPM, best streak, saved best score, replay, another practice set and another game.
Focus Typing Challenge is for learners who want a game but prefer a clear, professional interface rather than a children’s theme. It turns useful words and short phrases into five measured stages. The first stage is deliberately approachable; later stages introduce longer vocabulary, more involved phrases and spellings that benefit from deliberate attention. There is enough time to read each target, settle your hands and type accurately.
The downloadable edition has no installer and does not need a connection for gameplay. All runtime files and the official TypingTutor.Online logo are bundled locally. This makes it suitable for a personal laptop, an office computer where local HTML is permitted, or a USB drive used under the device owner’s policies. The TypingTutor.Online links are optional and connect the offline game to its online edition and the wider games collection.
A correct target adds points for its characters, remaining time and high accuracy. A wrong key breaks the current streak without erasing the whole target, so you can correct your attention and continue. If a target times out, one of five chances is used. The final result reports both accuracy and estimated WPM, helping you see whether extra speed came from controlled typing or from rushing.
Best scores for each practice set are saved only in local browser storage. No name, email, profile or account is required. Sound and fullscreen are optional, an active round pauses when the tab is hidden, and every new target moves to a safe random position. The layout responds to phones and tablets, with an Open Keyboard control for touch devices; a physical keyboard remains best for learning full touch-typing technique.
