Protect one home from hovering, weaving and diving drones. Ten levels. Three minutes each. Every word matters.

Type to intercept

Each drone carries a word. Type its first letter to select it, then finish the word to launch an interceptor. A blue outline marks your selected target. Aim for the drone nearest the home first.

Protect the shield

You have three shield segments. A drone that reaches the home removes one. Five consecutive interceptions restore one missing segment. Survive the full round to defend your home.

Ten automatic levels

Each level lasts three minutes. Survive to move straight into the next, with a small speed increase and a new vocabulary set. Defenses reset at each level; Level 10 completes the game.

A typing defense game with a purpose

Typing Interceptor combines word recognition, accurate keyboard control and choosing which target to clear first. The score counts correct letters, while WPM, accuracy, intercepted drones and your longest streak help you compare rounds. Speed is useful, but readable targets and steady accuracy are the foundation of a successful defense.

The illustrated home remains at the center of every round. Drones hover, weave or dive toward it, creating a different challenge from simply catching falling letters. Complete a word before its deadline: your blue interceptor launches automatically, so you can concentrate on typing rather than aiming with the mouse.

Use the game alongside the typing course and Typing Speed Improver. After a round, practise missed words and play again to check progress. For a comparable speed measurement, take a three-minute typing test. Game results do not qualify as certificate tests.

Who can play Typing Interceptor?

Full gameplay is included with an active monthly or annual Premium plan. Students covered by an active paid school plan can also play. The game is not available to guests or free accounts. Compare subscriptions.

How long does a round last?

Each level lasts three active minutes, with ten levels for up to 30 minutes of play. Surviving starts the next level automatically. Losing all three shield segments ends your attempt early. Pause freezes the timer and drones; switching to another browser tab pauses the game automatically.

Can I play on a smaller screen?

The layout adapts to narrow screens and limits simultaneous targets to two. A physical keyboard gives the clearest view. Touch devices offer an Open keyboard control, with no visible typing field in the play area.

Are results saved and synced?

Completed rounds enter your existing game history and practice-time totals. Your account’s normal automatic sync carries that supported progress between devices. An abandoned or restarted round is not counted as completed.

Does the game have sound?

Sound is optional. Use the sound control to toggle typing feedback, interceptions, shield warnings and level sounds. Reduced-motion preferences reduce decorative effects.

Surviving a level saves its result and starts the next automatically. Pause whenever you need a break. Losing shows results and offers a retry of the current level; clearing Level 10 shows your final summary. A complete ten-level run is up to 30 active minutes.

Each completed level is saved automatically. Defenses reset for the next level. Losing offers a retry of your current level; completing Level 10 shows the final result. Pause anytime for a break.
