Our accessibility goal
TypingTutor.Online aims to provide a typing experience that can be used by as many learners as reasonably possible, including people who navigate by keyboard, require larger text, prefer reduced movement, or need stronger visual contrast.
Current accessibility features
- Keyboard-operated lesson and result controls.
- Visible expected-key and finger guidance.
- Adjustable typing-text and keyboard-label sizes.
- Light, dark, and system appearance options.
- High-contrast and reduced-motion preferences.
- Options to hide visual guidance or live statistics.
- Semantic headings, labels, and status messages where supported.
Keyboard use
The tutor is designed primarily around physical-keyboard input. Buttons, settings, navigation, and result actions should remain reachable by keyboard. Typing lessons may intentionally capture character keys while a lesson is active.
Known limitations
Some typing exercises rely on visual keyboard and finger guidance. Certain animations, browser APIs, install prompts, notifications, or sharing features may behave differently across browsers and assistive technologies. We continue to test and improve these areas.
Adjusting the experience
Open the Settings tab in the tutor to change text size, keyboard-label size, contrast, movement, guidance, statistics visibility, and inactivity behavior. Browser zoom can also enlarge the entire interface.
Report an accessibility problem
Please use the Contact page and include:
- The page or lesson where the problem occurred.
- The browser, device, and assistive technology used.
- The action you were trying to complete.
- A description of the barrier and any suggested improvement.
